D.C. Day 2

Today, we started early (for DC; around 9:30). After a bus ride and two subway rides we arrived at the Smithsonian Museum of American History. From there we spent time in the following places: The American Indian Museum, Air & Space, Holocaust, and the Washington Monument, and Union Station. We walked many miles today. We were back to the hotel by 8:45 totally exhausted. We have an early morning tomorrow at the White House, so off to bed.

12 hours later....still in Dallas

Well, it looks like we are staying overnight in Dallas. American Airlines has put us up in a real nice hotel. While we were waiting in the airport we had the opportunity to meet Herschel Walker. I will post pictures soon. We are booked and confirmed on a flight to DC in the morning. Flight #1356 to leave at 10:05am and we will land at 2:00pm. We have no luggage (somehow, it made it to DC today) so some of our kids cell phone batteries will die tonight because their chargers are in their suitcase. Please keep watching the blog for details or you can call my cell phone at 806-241-8007.

Off to a Great Start

Our plane has been delayed in Lubbock. Instead of leaving at 8:55; we are leaving at 10:15. It is going to be a quick trip at DFW to make our connecting flight.
